How I Grew from Intern to Lead at Nue Studios

I began my journey at Nue Studios as a Social Media Marketing Intern, where I spent three months collaborating on social media strategies aimed at driving brand growth, engagement, and overall community. During this time, I had the opportunity to capture on-set content, learning how to best align content with each client’s specific audience and aesthetic. This hands-on experience allowed me to truly immerse myself in the world of social media marketing while working with various brands and platforms.


After completing my internship, I was invited to join the Nue Studios team full-time as the Lead Content Coordinator. In this role, I focus primarily on optimizing client content from concept to execution, ensuring each piece aligns with the brand's mission.

Bringing Just Black Denim to Life

Let me walk you through a typical content creation process for one of our clients, Just Black Denim. Based in Los Angeles, Just Black Denim is known for crafting premium denim jeans designed for everyday wear at an accessible price. For their Spring/Summer 2025 collection, they sought social media management and photoshoot production.


The planning process for a campaign begins months in advance, once the concept has been finalized. I start by creating a highly detailed social deck, which outlines several content creation ideas I plan to capture on the day of the shoot. This social deck includes inspiration, a shot list, props, and all the elements necessary to bring the campaign vision to life. It’s crucial that each piece of content aligns with the brand’s mission and aesthetic, so I ensure that everything reflects their core values and content pillars.

On shoot day, you’ll always find me with a camera in hand. I capture everything from model interviews and behind-the-scenes content to specific shots that showcase the collection in the best possible light. This part of the process is my favorite, as it allows my creativity to shine, and there's no shortage of inspiration in the environment.


After the shoot, I carefully edit each piece of content to fit the unique style and requirements of each platform. For Just Black Denim, their primary audience is active on Instagram and TikTok. I make sure that every video has a hook that grabs the viewer’s attention, guiding them to the key brand message.


While the details and complexity of content creation extend far beyond this example, this provides a glimpse into how I contribute to the success of each campaign as Lead Content Coordinator at Nue Studios.
